Introducing Heinstell
We are building local AI for agriculture: small enough to run on a phone, specialised enough to be useful on a farm.
Heinstell exists to put useful AI on the farm, not in a data center far away from it.
What we’re building
- Chiisai, a local language model for farming that runs entirely on a phone.
- Morfeul, a complete mobile app for farm management and operations, with AI built in.
Both work without a connection, and both keep the farm’s data on the farm.
What we believe
- Farm data belongs to the farm.
- AI should work at the far end of the field, where the signal drops.
- A model should be honest about where it was tested and how well it did.
