Heinstell started with a simple frustration: the most useful moments for AI on a farm happen far from a reliable connection, and the data that makes it useful is the data farmers are least willing to hand over.

So we build AI that runs on the phone a farmer already carries. Chiisai, our local language model, answers agronomy, livestock and operations questions without a connection. Morfeul, our farm management app, puts fields, herds, tasks and stock in one place, with AI help built in, and keeps the data on the farm.

How we work

• Agronomy first. Everything we ship is developed alongside agronomists and vets, and tested on working farms before release.
• Local by default. Processing happens on the device. Sharing data with us or anyone else is opt-in, and reversible.
• Open about limits. We publish what our models were tested on and where they fall short.
